Delivering Training.

Training That Builds Capability, Confidence, and Community Strength

We offer accredited and community-driven training to equip people with real-world skills and meaningful pathways into employment. Our training is practical, accessible, and tailored to the unique needs of regional and remote communities.

Whether it’s preparing people for work in the security industry or delivering community-specific training like de-escalation and conflict response, we focus on building local capability.

What We Offer

Certificate II in Security Operations

Kickstart a career in security with this nationally recognised qualification. Ideal for roles in Night Patrol, community safety, event security, and protective services.

De-escalation & Conflict Response Workshops

Specialist training for workers on the frontline — including security personnel, youth workers, teachers, and community leaders. These workshops provide practical tools to respond calmly and respectfully in high-stress situations.

Ngumburru Event Training

Inspired by the NGUMBURRU concept of "you give, I give", this training delivers event-focused skills with a strong emphasis on observation, care, and shared responsibility. Participants learn to support community events by creating safe, respectful spaces and watching out for others. The training blends cultural knowledge with practical techniques, reinforcing the value of giving back while keeping people safe.

Tailored Training Packages

We work with councils, organisations, and community groups to design training programs that meet local needs. Options may include:

  • Community safety awareness

  • Working with youth

  • Communication skills

  • Cultural respect and workplace readiness

Training can be delivered on Country, in-community, or in partnership with local services – always with a focus on real-world application and cultural relevance.

Why Train With Us?

Training with Mulga Security means learning from people who live it. Our facilitators bring firsthand experience, cultural understanding, and a practical approach that resonates. We create safe spaces for learning, build people’s confidence, and open doors to employment and community impact.

Training Delivery Options

On-site Training
In-person delivery is our preferred format as it offers the best experience through hands-on learning and stronger group engagement. We deliver sessions across Darwin, Palmerston, and remote NT communities.

Online Delivery
An alternative option suitable for short or foundational sessions, working best with small groups. This format is less ideal for highly interactive or in-depth training but offers flexibility. Hybrid options are also available to meet local needs.

  • Our standard rate is $120 per hour, per facilitator (for sessions of 3–4 hours or full-day).

  • Custom packages are available for larger or ongoing programs.
